Fly Fishing Guides from Doc Sneed, Inc.The Spring 2003 Issue of Flyfishing and Tying Journal has reviewed our guides in their new products section.
"Doc Sneed's Fly Fishing Guide is a handy little tool to take the mystery out of matching hatches. Made of laminated plastic with non-rusting grommets, simply turning the wheel identifies the time of year and the time of day when hatches are most likely to be occurring, what size the flies are likely to be and a picture of the insect. One side features mayflies, the other has caddis, stoneflies, midges and terrestrials. Each side also has pictures of imitations that best match the bugs described. The guide comes in two versions; one for the eastern part of the US and one for the west. For the beginning fly-fisher, it's an easy and effective way to become familiar with the basics of hatch-matching"
